For the Cardzware App to work on your website, we require you to set up a DNS record of type CNAME with your domain provider.
During the Cardzware APP setup process, you will be asked to select a subdomain from our preset list or create your own custom name. This record is not visible to anyone and adds an extra layer of security to our service.
If you are unsure who your domain is registered with, you can check this here:
Simply type in the domain name and click search. On the next screen, you will see details of where the domain is registered. The below example show's where the Cardzware.com domain is registered.
Once you have identified who your domain is registered with, you will need to log in to your domain provider's account, navigate to DNS settings and set up the CNAME record.
Below are the details you need to enter.
- Type = CNAME
- Host = In this field, ensure you enter the subdomain you selected when installing the Cardzware App. It will be one of the following... cards, greetings, products, or a custom name you entered.
